Installation of a floating photovoltaic system – 6,1 MWp – Netherlands

In 2022, we completed a unique project involving the installation of a floating photovoltaic system – the first of its kind in our portfolio.

The project was carried out in the Netherlands, a country that has long been at the forefront of adopting innovative solutions in renewable energy. We installed 13,863 photovoltaic modules, each with a capacity of 440 Wp, resulting in a total system output of 6.1 MW.

The system was mounted on special floating structures, which required our team to adapt to entirely new working conditions – from the installation of modules on a floating support system to the launching of the entire array while ensuring proper stability and safety of the installation.

This project allowed us to gain valuable experience in the field of floating solar farms (floating PV). Our installation team faced numerous new technical and logistical challenges.

Thanks to this project, we expanded our competencies to include a new market segment – floating photovoltaics – and confirmed our ability to deliver even the most demanding and unconventional renewable energy projects across Europe.
